FS: T1R 50S exhaust

Just received my T1R 50S (street) exhaust today and going to install it and get some "driving impressions'

Like the T1R intake, I don't plan to keep these parts, it's more for testing and posting my take on the part..

Retail is $680 CAD + shipping + taxes

Selling $700 CAD..

pickup / deliver in GTA area or ship on buyer's expense

pictures posted.. will post intalled pics later

-----------

just found out that the axle back and the b-pipe section can be used independently.. so if anybody is interested:

B-Pipe = $370
axle back = $370
complete = $700

-----------

buy the exhaust and i will throw in the CF engine cover for $180

2000-3500 the power is slightly better than stock, after 3500 to 5000, you can definitely feel the difference.

I ran with the silencer out and it's bearable, not too loud until you get the higher (>4500) rpms..

Going to drive around today and taking it off tomorrow..

for low end torque to mid range power, it's a very good exhaust

How much did you buy it for? from AJ Racing, it's $680 CND. Why would anyone buy it for MORE that MSRP??

in our part of canada, there is a thing called taxes :-)

$680 MSRP doesn't include shipping OR taxes..

assuming you pick up local, you pay 680 + 7% BC PST + 6% GST = $768.40

for the east coast guys, it cost $60 to ship:

680 + 60 = 740 + 6% GST = $784.40

Yeah, but its' also used isn't it? Theoretically, on any USED parts, teh price of it drops by like 30% - 50% right off the bat ESPECIALLY if it's been installed.

the b-pipe was never installed and the rear section was installed for 1 hour, driving back from my mechanic to my house, where I received the tanabe axle back (never installed) and my fujitsubo (installed and keeping)

so for 1 hour's usage, i should lose 30-50% of the value according to your logic

btw.. i sold 2 items here used (a-spec axle back and t1r CF air box) for 10% less than what i paid.. if you are looking for a bargin, go elsewhere, because i rather cut this exhaust into little pieces than to give in to your lowballing

thanks for crapping on my thread btw..

Sorry, i didnt' mean to piss you off. I was jsut wondering why the price was so high. There was NO indication that it was only installed for 1 hour, which isn't a very long testign period. Like i said i was just curious why it was more than i accepted. i guess that when i saw the title of the thread, i accepted it to be cheaper that what i can get it for. My bad.

i am not pissed off.. seems like every reply from you was just pushing the issue

since you are in BC, it's easier for you to go and pick it up.. the rest of us needs to pay shipping to east coast

since Toy Yoda thinks it's expensive.. i will just keep it for myself then.. all prices should be approved by Toy Yoda!
