I am going to be going to the Indy Import &Truck Bash, in of all places Indianapolis, Indiana , which is August 17-19th 2007. I was curious if any other "Freaks" will be heading out to it. I am going on the 18th and am still up in the air if I'll stay for day two. I don't have a show winner, but I love to go and see what the folks with the cash can do. Let me know if any of you are planning on going.

Yeah I was there, but didn't see this thread in time. If you walked thru the cars on Sat. I had an orange Element

Didn't see any other E's or even one Fit in the bunch

 

Yep I was there. I was behind the air suspension dealer between them and the big ditch that seperated the concrete road the loops around. I did get a chance to see your Element. I thought it looked really good. I was the only Fit there so there put me in with the Civics and CRXs. I ended up getting 2nd place in the mild catagory so I was pretty happy

 

My interior paint job didn't turn out so good and looked like total crap, so hopefully you didn't see inside

Sorry I didn't see your Fit....were you there on Sat? I didn't stay for the awards on Sun. so I don't even know if I got anything.

I'm assuming that if you're not there for the awards they skip you? or do they send it to you?

What'd you get for 2nd place?

 

Yes, I was there on Saturday. There were so many club areas that us "lone wolfs" were forced to find whatever we could, so its not too surprising you didn't see me. The trophy was was an acrilic one that was generic for 1st, 2nd or 3rd. It didn't state what class you were in. Don't get me wrong, they are nice, but it would have been neat if it stated what class you won in. I'll try and get a photo for you. If you weren't there for the awards, they won't mail your trophy. You might try to contact they to see if you were a winner.

 

I'll give that a try....nice to see the Fit win! Always think it helps being one of a kind at car shows instead of one out of 100's (like the civic)
