Cool Show me your Helmet!!

Time to show people what makes you tick, pull out your trusty old helmet and snap a photo and post it up for your fellow FF members!

What can I say.... a combination of boredom and getting a new helmet brought this one on..... but mostly boredom

...here's my contribution...

My helmet was looking too generic. It needed something to give it more personality. I thought I'd try putting the Fitfreak and Norcalfit logos on it. Here is what I ended up with.

Sometimes when I drive through McDicks I put on my helmet so the teller thinks I am cool and gives me a free drink! lol, jk

Pretty much any motoring event (AutoX, Drag racing, ect) has it written into the rules you need a helmet. Bottom line is no helmet = you have to watch from the sidelines.

that aint how we roll in kentucky. you have to be AWFULLY fast before a helmet is required. we get away with a lot out here in the country.

Lucky, for the stuff I am going into they require SNELL 2005 certification... there is a good handful of DOT motorcycle helmets that are not acceptable!

For drag racing you are required to have a helmet IF you car runs faster than 13.5secs.

Or for 1/8 mile track if you run faster than 8.5secs you need a helmet

Here is what mine looks like but i surely dont wear it in my car... its for my motorcycle... i have the black one with the red flames... Viewing Images For Icon Airframe Claymore Helmet :: New Enough, LTD

torres... newenough.com is a good place to buy helmets from. Or if you have a cycle gear store in your town, they have good prices. Otherwise your going to pay a bundle for a helemt. Always try them on a motorcycle dealer though cause if you just order online... you might not get one that fits well even though the sizing chart says it will fit your head.

I'm old school. Real men wear goggles and smoke cigars while at the track.
