Midwest October Meet, Oct 4th? Looking for feedback.
no one ever spoke up so I assumed it was canceled. I have off the next two weekends so if you guys want we can meet up and cruise doens't matter to me just let me know when and where.
if we do it next weekend id rather keep it close to the glen...and in the early afternoon works better for me. but dont change plans or anything cuz of me, ill just make it to the next one.
Anything Goes
Listen I'm down for anything, I'm finishing up my intake cover this weekend, and probably installing my t1r hoses also. So needless to say, one more weekend is fine by me for the rest of my installs. The Glenn seams to be a pretty decent place for the meets, no problems with police or other cars. I'm down with the Glenn.
Well..... DAMN!!!
I honestly forgot, but I leave the 16th for Florida and don't get back until the 25th. I feel extremely stupid... but anyways here's the manifold cover installed since I wont be able to make the meet.
I'll post pics if I finish the coolant hoses. Let me know what you guys think good or bad...

Ok...So who all can make it next Saturday (Oct. 18)? My vote is around lunch time at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. Lots of cool places near there to take rolling shots, etc...
If it's next weekend, sign me up

I am down for any time on the 18th. I am all for meeting up at the Glen again or if people want to meet somewhere different I am all for that too as long as it isn't too far of a drive. I just need an addy.
Too bad it was not today! WOW sunny and 70. OMG what a beaut! I'll meet any place anytime. So add me to what ever list anyone makes.
I just have one question. If we all live so close to the third largest city in America why are we not holding our meets there? There are a plethora of parks in the loop area. I'm sure some of you know of at least a couple choice spots to meet up and take breathtaking photos. Pot luck BBQ anyone? I say keep the Glen or Streets of Woodfield as a back up plan if it rains.

Because it would be a 60-90 min ( maybe longer depending on traffic ) drive for me to make into the city compared a 30-40 minute drive no matter how traffic is.
Idk I guess I would be ok with making a longer trip this time.
I guess let me know and well see.

Streets of woodfield would be awesome...really cool scenery around there for pics. The 'burbs are just chock full of awesome photo-ops. I'm pretty close to either The Glen or Woodfield areas...they're only 30 minutes apart so maybe we could do both? haha...wishful thinking
If we were to do a city cruise, I've been trying to get ahold of security at Wrigley field to see if we could get permission to line up on the sidewalk in front of the sign at Clark and Addison...since the Cubs aren't doing anything right now
It's monday...can we get a headcount?

Which is why the Cubs ended the regular season 7.5 games ahead of the Brewers?
Ya ya...I know they choked in the playoffs. But I personally blame Ryan Dempster for single-handedly handing that series over to the Dodgers. But that's a conversation for another thread.
Plus I wasn't suggesting you have to be a Cubs fan to do it...but it would be an awesome backdrop with a historic Chicago landmark. Just an idea. Still haven't heard back from them anyways. I didn't think I would, though.
Go Cubs!...
...next year. There's always next year. (I've been saying that for over 10 years now)
