I like that carwash. I think we should meet up there first. Noon and then from there we can make our drive to the Bowling alley.

 

Odds of me showing are quickly diminishing. Looks like we are making the 15 hour drive from NC to home on that Saturday. I sure wished I would have known about this before planning the trip. =(

 

Either way, I'm down.. Oh and for those looking for a Great car wash I would like to suggest a car wash I went to this weekend. On 3700 Washington Ave.... for the Houston ppl.

I really LOVE to wash my car and be as anal as i want but now living in a big city it is hard to do, I mean just finding someone to lend me a drive way a hose is HARD. So I did some screaching and found this place. It was really quick service (about 1.5 hr for all) and they did a good job. I got the car cleaned on the inside (vacuum and micro fiber damp on dash), through wash & WAX !!! ALL BY HAND ... for $40. Not to bad.

i later went home and went thru all the tiny spots missed, Just my OCD coming out, but overall I am satisfied and I will be going again.

^ Thanks for that! What is the place called? What color is your car, and did they leave any swirls? I have a BBP Fit and I don't want to see swirlies when it gets done, but if you guys saw my car now you'd kick me out of the club. I keep having to go through this sewer leak near my house that they haven't fixed and it kicks up mud something fierce. My car looks like it's in Colorado in the spring, before it's warm enough to wash.

 

My car is tafetta white... But so far no swirl marks.. but it is a white car, hides them better

I was afraid I was going to have to cancel, because we are going up to College Station on 9/7 and I couldn't remember if that was when the meet was.

So I'm glad it's not that weekend.

I won't make this one. My anniversary is that weekend, and I am still a little scared to drive to Houston for a Fit picnic. My car was smashed after the last Houston bbq. Have fun. I'll make the next one.

BlueCell, your turbo right ?? How much you putting down. B/c I have been really looking at the KW S/C kit. and I was wondering if i could get a ride just to see what a boosted Fit feels like.

 

I'm boosted and will definately have more power than an S/C car. Opinion was from a fellow S/C Fit in Houston. 180whp is my ballpark.

 

This is turning out to be a low attendance meet. Tell yo friends. I've been crazy busy lately so i haven't been on fit freak much. But this is for sure happening on sat. Even if its just me and Marcus and Juliane =D

On a side note i am moving to Waco on Sept 29th. So i will officially be Texas fitfreak soon. I am starting a job up there on Oct. 5th managing the 40 Thieves Hookah Lounge.

 

I gotta go to the Glenn Beck thing first though. I forgot it was on that same day. I have to get some political jelly from my other peeps. It's on Mason Road so I'll cruise up after that.
