Packwood 2010
I think there were two white fits running in HS. I managed to snag a picture of one on Saturday (after all the racing was done and everyone went home, I'm too shy to take pictures when people are around their cars..but now I just sound like a stalker). I drove my own fit down to spectate..so if you saw a dirty red fit hiding 'round that'd be me .

What'd you guys think of the course?
Some of the comments from locals here were that it was more of a sweeper course and they were expecting more slalom elements.
Apparently there was a drag race at the start that appears to have favoured the cars with more torque in the results somewhat.

Sorry but I have not been able to post, so I finally re-registered as mtsredni recently.
My son and I have been A/Xing the fit up here the past 2 seasons in HS. First 2 years driving for each of us. I have followed the forum since 07 when I bought the car using many of the suggestions from some of those early A/X threads.
The cars are, as you all know, fun handling and do surprisingly well on tight courses and yes the NT layout (like many at spacious Packwood) was big & sweepy. Great course by Karen Babb (who just was elected to the National SCCA Hall of Fame, incidentally). In the Fit, on a course like that, we are always trying to drive a shorter course than the more powerful cars. As a result by the 3rd run on day 2 of counter clockwise /clockwise weekend ourselves and Rich had picked up so much offline "clag"we could not improve our times. It was a fun weekend though. I will try to post an event pic of the 2 Fits we staged after the day.
We have very few HS cars competing in the NW Region. So if you are interested in giving it a try it would be great to see more Fits out there.
2011 schedule should be up in January at:

B Spec looks interesting to us as well!
