With no inner fenderwall bashing, roll is ok.

What's the widest wheel/tire combo you HDPE guys are running? Some offset suggestions as well if you have them.

235 series is max but if you're running that i'd love to hear what you had to do.

PM is ok if you don't want to put your seeekrets on the internet.

Thanks guys!

The thing is, you can have too much rubber. For our cars, I would think anything over a 205 on an 8-inch wheel will start slowing you down (although I don't know if I would go wider than 7.5). JCrim may be running 9-inch wheels now, though, so he may have more info on that.

After doing some thinking I think you're right... the weight of the tires would offset any performance gains in cornering you might get from the extra width. 225 is probably a little much for 110hp to the ground lol

I was doing some research and see that most people are running 205 or 195... guess i'll probably go with 205 RS3? I can only have street tires and i'm over Azenis.

Thanks for the tip.

depending on what kind of driving you are doing, 225 are even okay for gd's and almost not enuff for GE's! a 225 on a x9 will give you significantly more tire contact patch than on a x8
