As for Honda Dave yea the Army is always like that in the Active service, I was supposed to take a pt test and they didn't tell me it was canceled so I was sitting at the track till 630 waiting for everyone. They like to set people up for failure. I wonder what the army would be like if there were only NCOs and COs lol, no work would ever get done haha! Well guys tomorrow is a big day, got to clean the crap out of my car. Vacuum all the pebbles and grass I can out too. That's gonna be impossible with the car wash vacs. :/

I can't speak for the Travelin' Man Goobers but it looks like we is serious about being in Houston...His Fit must have wings. He checked into a motel between Lewisville and Carolton last night..I am amazed what he is doing.... I am having doubts about making it... I gave up on getting my car together enough to have it expected yesterday and hit the sack for 12 hours.. I've been out bed for over an hour and having very bad sciatic pain.. I took medication, I'm waiting for it to kick in and to see if I can beat the extreme heat and get things done..I still have no Idea how to get to where the place I'm supposed to go to is when I make it to Houston.

I installed my rogue scoop yesterday and got an alignment. man, the scoop is legit. very very nice. ill snag a pic real fast

 

You guys have no idea how bad it can get.. In 1968 they were squeezing 16 weeks of boot camp training into 8 weeks... When we got to Vietnam we had to forget everything we learned and rely on OJT and improvisation....

 

we should see if we can combine our forces and get a hella military discount in a SAFE hotel in the houston area for tonight. what say you?

I don't have a military ID card.. I can get one but I have to go to the old Carswell AFB which is now a joint military facility.. There is no way I am going to have an ID card that doesn't have an eagle globe and anchor on it.. I may not be able to drive down there if I can't get what needs to be done to the Fit and get it inspected...Yesterday was like a sauna and wasted me in less than 30 minutes.

 

I'm down. I work at the gas station right by there, Dj's West. Exit 800 off i10. I'll be off at 3, I can head there right after work. I might just skip the meet and go to this instead.

I found a hotel they we usually stay at when we go down to MSR houston. its 10 miles from the track. they have 1 room avalible normally 129 a night. I got them down to 90 a night. its the only room avalible and it only have 1 king size bed lol. split it with me and you can have the bed and me and my gf will cot on the floor. what say you?

if anyone wants to fulfill their good deed of the year, please let me know asap if you can room me and my poor pitiful, adorable, pickachu-like, asian gf. lol we will build a statue in remembrance for your kind deeds and tell stories of your great doings.

JC I have been trying to get my act together on the car and self.. I have been having bad sciatic and arthritis pain My car needs an inspection sticker plus serious cleaning and a bit of reassembly that I've not been able to do in this heat.. I have kept thinking I would feel better and get it done but it hasn't worked out.. I haven't even cranked my car or left the house in 3 weeks according to my wife.. I guess the medication I take has something to do with not being able to handle the heat as well as being old and high mileage.. I went to sleep early yesterday before the sun was down and woke up at 6:am hurting like hell until it became too hot outside for me.. I'm going to have to make the next get together when it is cooler...

 

The heat forces you to metabolize you medication faster. Ask your doctor. Sorry you can't make it (((((

Had an absolute blast at the meet! It was great meeting you all, ripping it up on the track with karts and of course cruising with you all on the highway.
