Attending an event over at Central Circuit, hosted by J's Racing. It's Round 2 of 2 for 2012. One problem, quite exhausted. 7 hour drive and just 75 min of sleep since waking up Friday morning. First time here and heard it is bumpy in the first corner coming off the main straight and very easy to upset the car.

Wasn't my Fit, just a friend with close ties to J's Racing. And unfortunately...NO PICS. Just was too exhausted to even go around and snap some. Including on track action, did 1200km of driving on just 45 minutes of sleep over a period of 42 hours. On the way back I didn't even remember about 25~30km of the drive on the Tomei Expressway. HOW STUPID WAS I?!?!
I do have some in-car/on-car footage from my GoPros that I have yet to start editing.
I ended the day 5th in my group out of 12, but was like 4.5~5 seconds down on the top 3 in the group. They are all Central regulars and it was just my first time, though they are more than likely a better driver than I am. I did improve my lap times for the most part throughout the day and from the fastest lap in the first run (dry track) to the fastest in the 3rd run (damp track) I erased 1.5 seconds. 1 of those 3 was the Fit pictured above. Full carbon roof, lexan windows all around minus the windscreen, gutted completely for the most part, 12.5:1 pistons and cam. It definitely is making a good 20~25ps more than I am.
Side note, 2nd gear has took a shit. It's hanging in there, but so wants to pop out of gear. I was a bit aggressive on the change down to 2nd from 3rd all day long. Ohhh well, it's the nature of the beast, you want to play, you must pay.
