Matt,
We are planning a Fit Meet for November 11 (Sunday)
Meet at McDonald's in Castro Valley off of 580 and head to K1 Speed Indoor Karting. Yes, we're going to do some racing indoors on the Karts (up to speeds of approx. 40 mph)
From there, we're planning on driving through San Francisco, across the Golden Gate bridge through the Marin headlands.
Then we'll be heading back to East Bay via Richmond bridge ((580)....
Should be fun....hope you can join us...

Turducken Time!
This year's Turducken came out perfect once again! This time around, I used a 14 lb turkey, 4 lb Duck and a 6 lb chicken. After 45 mins of prep, and 2 hours in the oven at 375*F, we were ready to dive in!
What should have been enough to feed about 25 people, 13 of us nearly finished it off! As an experiment, I tried adding a big fat Jalapeno to the stuffing. The result was a pleasant "kick" without being too overwhelming.
Konig_Feather and kids prepared the mashed potatoes and gravy, while SlimJimx701x got the peas up to temp. DoYouFit? did the videos below:
The Sonora "Off Road" Drive (Warning, this is a long drive/video):
:
This video actually makes the road look a lot calmer than the one I recall driving on! The road was way too rough for our "lowered" Fits. I was constantly scraping the lower lip. Then, on one particular bump, I knew that I lost it, I could "hear and feel" it getting ripped and mangled under the car. When we finally stopped 15 mins later, I was surprised to see it was still intact! Hmnm, who's lip did I run over?
