i thought on a GE the part numbers were:

( JDM Badges )

1) RS emblem, P/N 75731-TFO-003
2) Front Type-R badge, P/N 75700-SNW-003
3) Rear Type-R badge, P/N 75700-S5T-E01
4) Type-R Key cover, P/N 35114-S6M-Q11
5) RSZ Rear emblem, P/N 75731-SMA-003
6) RSZ Front grill emblem, P/N 75732-SMA-003
7) RSZ Steering wheel emblem, P/N 77810-SMA-J71

maybe i was wrong, are US and UK badges sizes are different?

Right

I'm getting well confused over the item numbers

If the front is

75700-SNW-003

I've found this on ebay

New Honda Type R Red Bootlid / Trunk Badge *genuine* on eBay, also Other Performance Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-May-09 11:26:35 BST)

However, the diamensions are only 9.5cm x 7.7cm

if you are going to spend £42 on ebay... personally i wouldn't take the risk..
its ok if it was like half the price as there are a few fake badges on ebay.

at honda, the worst case, it will be a couple of quid more but you know it will the real thing and it will fit, if it doesnt fit, they can take it back.

I would go to Honda directly and order from them, and ask for a discount... there is no harm in asking... you might be surprised!...

sometimes he gives me between 10 to 20% off depending on the items. ... i always get a discount from my local dealer in solihull. as he knows i will always go back to him for parts.

last time i went i got 3 touch up paint for £1 each, they are normally about £7 each, he had ordered too many of white... luckily my car is white!

I got a price from my dealer for

75700-S5T-E01 £17.61 + vat

so I guess I will be looking at around £70 for both badges.

However, I also found a shop in HK that will sell the front for $300 and rear $320 (eshop.supergt.com.hk) and as my brother lives out there, i was thinking maybe I could save myself a few quid and get him to buy them and send them over?

I'm still not very confident on the diamensions though seems to be getting conflicting information.

I also have a relatively good relationship with my local honda dealer and usually get around 5-10% off stuff I order.

micchung> dont suppose you could do me a favour and ask how much your dealer would do the badges for?

cheers

Gary

i think the prices are pretty standard at all honda dealers, and wont be a big difference,

the amount of discount normally depends on the amount of stuff i get...and how they guy is feeling on the day i go and pay, i normally order the parts over the phone and pick them up after a couple of weeks, when i drive past again.

since you said you already get a discount... i will get at most 10% more than you which would only be a few quid...

i would spend that much on petrol getting there and then sending the items to you. but i can ask next time i am there.. i need to order a new lip, and badges for my DC2
