08 Fit MT Engine Mounts Torn
Just got my car back from the mechanic and the front and rear engine mounts are torn and they said they need to be replaced. The side (passenger) engine mount also looks like it needs to be replaced as well. I bought some OEM Honda mounts but am afraid they will tear in 5 years. Also, saw Innovative had some engine mounts that looked more durable.
Do I need to replace these mounts? What will happen if I don't?
Anyone have any experiences with replacing the engine mounts with OEM, good or bad?
Anyone have any experiences with using Innovative Mounts or a different brand?
