2008 GD1 CVT jumps (feels like gear shift)
Lately my 2008 GD1 CVT Fit (102.500 km currently) has been making this kind of "jump" when accelerating and/or going at a constant speed (does not happen when the gas pedal is not pressed). It feels like a transmission shift, which lasts a split second (like the car loses power but immediately gains power again). It's not very frequent though, it might not happen at all during one drive, or it might happen once or a couple of times.
I've had this car for nearly 3 years but it only started happening recently. CVT transmission fluid was changed 2 years ago when serviced at 90.000 km, spark plugs as well. Filters were changed quite recently with the 100.000 maintenance service.
Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?
Thanks!

Sounds like under load judder aka. your trans is dumping out internally. Stay away from the CVT. The frictional transfer of power vs a manual gearbox or even clutch/friction disk style is far less robust and even less forgiving than the latter 2. It is possible it's a solenoid/pressure related issue but generally it's the bands that wear moreso. Confirm with $$$$ code reader there may be a code stored in TCM.
