Question about blown AC outlet fuse...

I went to Pep Boys today and picked up a portable air compressor today so that I could inflate my tires whenever need arise. I bought what looked like a heavy duty little unit so I thought, "Hmm... this looks nice and powerful." Got home, parked, plugged it in and after inflating my first tire I turned it off and I go to turn it back on and it wouldn't! Long story short I blew my AC outlet fuse by using my air pump. It seems odd so my question is: 1) Does an air pump draw too much current causing the fuse to blow? 2) I will be replacing the fuse with the same 15 rating one but if it blows again would it be safe to up it to like a 20?

The box doesn't indicate how many amps are drawn by this unit all it says is that it uses 12volts. One last thing, does the car come with spare fuses somewhere? Here are some pics.

Yeah basically I am starting to HATE my Honda Fit. Yeah it may be a great car for some but I need something rough and tough and well... the Fit is None of The Above. I will try same fuse but can someone clarify if replacing with a larger fuse be a great danger i.e. burning wiring harness, etc.?

Not a good idea. The stock fuses are that size for a reason. If its blowing fuses, maybe put a fuse inline with it and run it straight off the battery.

I replaced the fuse with the same a fuse of the same rating and inflated all 4 tires with the same pump and it the fuse didn't blow. hopefully it holds up :/

Cool

Temperature can often affect resistance, both physical and electrical. Likely that was it!
