Making Scoop without damaging/Hole the Bonnet

Every Honda Jazz/Fit has a Plastic Cover on the top of the power steering / Clutch OIL.. we can use that to make scoop

what u need is to make these scoop is

1. Genuine Honda plastic Cover ($10)
2. Fibreglass Resin+ Catalyst + Sheet + Acetone
3. Grille Mesh
4. Nuts And Bolt
5. Paint
6. Drill and angle Grinder

Time Requires: 1/2 A Day

1st Step:

U have to decide what is ur scoop looks like , then U make a Mould using Cartoon / Styrofoam

2nd Step:

Mix the Resin + Catalyst.... then wait 1-2 min... while we waiting.. we lay the fibreglass Sheet on top of the Mould.. then we pour the Resin on top of the sheet... wait for 1-2 min then we put another layer of FB Sheet and put more resin.. (repeat these process until 4-5 layer), then U wait till dry (approx 1-2hours)

3rd step:

cut the excess sheet using angle grinder till u see there is a shape of the Scoop..... (these is the hard part .. make sure u get brand new DISC for ur grinder)

4th step:

We have to use sandpaper to make the surface smooth.. and we paint it using Arclyics paint for high gloss.. and wait

5th step:

cut the hole in the middle for the Genuine Cover Cap.. then drill 2 on side and 2 at the back... and we put 3M sticker on it..

6th step:

after the scoop dry.. we drill the scoop 2 on side 2 at the back (follow the hole from the cover cap) and after that we attach the Grille Mesh To block any unwanted stuff going to engine

7th step:

Peel the 3M sticker and stick the mould to cover than.. put a nuts and bolt it to secure it...

Conclusion: by adding these scoop.. we make the Manifold of our engine cooler and if ur car got a turbo it will cool down much faster... and good thing didnt damage the bonnet at all
