Repairing Interior Painted Surface :(
Repairing Interior Painted Surface :(
Hey guys,
I have a 2007 Fit(Canadian Version)
I have recently messed up my interior. it's the painted surface just left of the emergency signal and right of the meter cluster visor. Some chemical solution "washed" away part of the paint.
I believe it is the Graphite-Black colour (only interior colour offered in Canada). Is there an easy DIY I can repair it?
If I can repair it simply by spraying over it. Can you suggest a paint that matches the factory colour?
Thanks

I have had dash repairs done, I think its a job for the pros. They paint match and match the texture on the dash plastic. Including the metal sparkles in the dash paint. Cost about $80 usd.
If you can't find a company that does it, ask your local honda dealer what company they go through to fix dashes.

Try Mother's Back to Black or just regular Armor All. I had to put my GPS antenna on the gauge hood...the part above the gauge cluster and behind the steering wheel. Well I took alcohol to the plastic to get all of the old Armor All off. It left it a nice white crusty color. Once I mounted the antenna, I took Armor All and went all over the plastic piece and it looks brand new.
Try that...Hopefully it works.
