Windshield washer fluid not working

I just bought my Fit and tried the Windshield washer fluid "Mist" setting and nothing worked. The rear works fine but nothing comes out of the spray holes.

I'm going to call the dealer on Monday but thought one of you might know what I might be doing wrong.

The mist setting just means when your window gets misty from a light rain, you can clean it off with the mist setting instead of turning the wipers all the way on. To activate the washer fluid, pull the stalk towards you, as if you were flashing the highbeams on the left hand stalk.

Many Thanks

Thank you. I feel like an idiot but at the same I feel it's a big flaw that they forgot to make that more user friendly. I swear I would've never intentionally tried that and according to the lever and icon it should be above the "Mist" feature. They should have put the word "pull" by the icon of the washer fluid.

But anyway, thanks for the help. I can now wash my windshield with ease.

It's all explained on pages 70 & 71 of the 2007 Honda Fit Owners Manual.

Manuals Shmanuals

Well, I'm usually a manual reader and thought I had scoured the thing. I think that it was mostly a pride thing that I couldn't just figure it out. I mean, it's the flippin' washer fluid. Shouldn't be too hard right?

Mostly just shows my ignorance.

Don't feel too bad. When I had my '06 Civic it was the same way and I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I was trying so much things so I finally said screw it and went to the dealer since it's only about 7 minutes away. When I got there one guy was just as puzzled as I was, but another salesman came and he showed us both how to do it and I fealt stupid afterwards as well.

Yeah it is crazy how something as simple as this isn't standardized. My parents C320 to get any washer fluid out, you have to push the stalk inwards! The G35 on the other hand you have to pull towards yourself like the Fit. I've seen cars where there is a little switch on the wiper stalk that you have to twist to get any mist...then there are those where you gotta push it down or away from you...
