water drip

water drip

I am a new owner. I notice that there is water dripping from the engine (area) after each trip. It does not appear to be coolant, but it does appear to be water, in that it is clear and odorless. It also feels like water (not thick or slimy). Is this normal?? The source is a "hose" that is clipped to the body of the car in the rear of the motor compartment.... Perhaps it is related to the A/C altough the A/C is not on...

sounds like a AC drip, however it shouldnt leak if there AC isnt on

Just don't forget the AC will run if you use defrost mode.

Sounds like A/C condensation. I see it under my Fit as well and traced it back up to the A/C lines. Looks normal to me.
