Goo-Gone??????

I put plastic on my front end and held it with masking tape at the ends so it'll hold for my 600hr drive.

Now where the tape was I have some if the sticky residue that harden on there. Now to my question. What would be the best and safest way to remove this without damage?

Thanks everyone for your future inputs =-D

What kind of masking tape did you use? I masked my front end with the 3M blue stuff, yes pricey but I wanted to make sure it didnt leave residue.

It was on for a full week baking in the sun.

If you use Goo-gone Id suggest one of those microfiber towels.

Thanks guys. I though someone here used goo-gone and damaged their clearcoat but I think he also mixed with another solvent.

I'll try it with a microfiber towel then. BTW I used the rugular kind (tannish color) not the blue one.
