wanted to know i saw somewhere where someone replaced their radiator fan switch sensor...the little water sensor that kicks on the radiator fan where is this located at on the us 1.5L US engine.???

 

anyone know where the thermoswitch for the us fit 1.5L engine is located....

 

It is screwed into the thermostat housing. The housing is in the right side of the engine (looking in from the front). This is an ADM version but the USDM is in the same area. The fan switch in the middle the brass switch with wires coming out.

 

actually i looked there and didnt see anything coming out of the thermostat housing on the us 1.5L version....anyone know where this is located ..anyone have a service manual for us fit and know or can tell me where it is???????

You cant' find the DIY right here on FITFREAK???

 

every link i clicked on that was under the manual link didnt work except one for jazz but didnt list the thermostat or thermoswitch so no that didnt help any

 

Looks like I have found your switch.....

Look in this photo on the left side of the head right near the large water outlet from the thermostat housing and above the brass water outlet..... Presto a brass switch with a black plastic connector protector.... looks suspiciously like a Honda fan switch to me and it's into the water jacket at the rear of the thermostat housing ... right where I told you to look.

I say case solved buy someone that doesn't own a USDM version. Booo no help from all those guys that own one and COULD have looked at their car and let you know.

ok apparantly it is different on the us vs the adm engine..
i got a thermoswitch but it looks like it will not fit my engine so i was wondering if anyone would be interested in a thermoswtich for a adm engine fit/jazz
