best way to get rid of sap?

What's the best way to get rid of sap on the front window shield?

googone/WD40 followed by alcohol to remove the googone/WD40.

sweet wd40 did the trick had to spray it couple times before it came off.

sounds good. yeh, tree sap is some strong stuff.
