the skunk2 ss comes with an instruction paper. its really easy. the hardest part will be taking off the pivot ball on the end of the shifter. it can easily be taken off with a pair of channel locks and some force. just be careful not to damage it. everything else will be pretty easy and straight forward. goodluck. also be sure to grease the ball before you install. if your car is new there should be some left around the shifter you can use, if not you will have to go to the store and pick some up...forget what the stuff is called but there should be enough around the shifter to use.

yep np, dont worry i dont really think you can screw it up. just do it step by step, remember to grease and put everything back together properly. install should take probably 45 mins as long as you can get the ball off quickly. you'll need some locktight also. i got the medium grade locktight(you can get this at the local car store or any hardware store).(its stuff you put on the threads of the screws so they wont back out). and you also might notice where the screws go in that they go in at AN ANGLE. make sure you thread them in at the proper angle so you dont strip them out. follow the instructions and you might even have some fun with the simple install if youve never done anything to the car by yourself.

no! it should have came with 4 NEW bolts that are slightly longer than the stock bolts for the shifter assembly.

what you do is, undo the 4 stock bolts, take off the clutch lines, life it up, take off the pivot ball, install adapter with new pivot ball(make sure you use locktite on the threads for the adapter so it doesnt back out on you when youre driving down the road...), grease and install the pivot ball onto the adapter. install bushings, shifter cables, and 4 new bolts that are longer.

...you should have just asked and waited, patience is a really good thing to have, especially when it comes to installing something and not knowin what youre supposed to do....
