Honda Jazz Tail Lights

Hi guys hope you could help me. I bought a 2nd hand honda jazz 2006 here in Dubai (Im from the Philippines). As i was driving i noticed the jazz in front of me that when he hits the brakes the only thing that lights is the upper part of the tail, the rest is completely dead so when i got home i told my friend to step on the brake pads and the same thing happened to my jazz. (Jazz here sucks!) I checked the connection and Presto! There were only 2 wires mounted, 1 is for the brakes and the 2nd is for the signal and reverese.

Im a noob at wiring and stuffs like that so if you could please help me on how to wire anong brake lights please
