:( parking spot tore off my front end...

ugh............

so I pulled into a parking spot today and was not paying attention (I admit it), and pulled in to far. Upon trying to pull out the cement parking stop tore off the bottom part of my car.

A couple things, its not compeltely torn off, only partially. Nothing appears to be cracked, it just looks like the snaps around the edges gave way.

Does anyone have knowledge on how to reattach the front end of a fit?

if you broke a tab, just remove tab, and reinstlal it with the bumper back in place.

My room mate already did it. and tore off not just my bumper, broke the bottom lip, and scratched up the bottom engine shield. amazing how far he got onto the little parking stop.

If it's just the lip. It has a few screws up inside the engine shield underneath. Those are just plastic slips a screw driver can remove. If I'm not mistaking, you have to remove the center of the plastic screws, then pull them out. PAY ATTENTION: Some of the screws are longer so watch which ones go where. Remove engine shield, and the screws underneath are 10mm I think. Then the corners of the lip attach in the front fenders - 2 phillips head screws per side. Hope I didn't miss anything

My friend (who is an idiot for this) wanted to start my car (for some reason) so I let him thinking, "whats the worse thing that could happen?" He claimed he could drive stick and whatnot so I just let him. Next thing you know it, my car is up the curb with my bumper twisted and broken.

I just popped it in and I didn't have any problems... until later, my splash sheild was broken (the clips) so it started dragging. I just ended up replacing everything (bumper, splash shield, lip, etc). Luckily I work at Honda campus and know people from parts so I got hooked up.

Man, sorry that happened. I've been meaning to post a FS on the market section. I have a new lip for sale. Even with a hook up, I pray it was substantial. I've seen how much those things cost and everything you replaced... WOW! It still had to be a lot of $ Hope nothing else happens to ya!
