Dash Rattle... Easy fix
I started trouble shooting my 2005 dash rattles. I took a 4 ft long piece of black 3/8 inch fuel line.. (fairly stiff line) and tucked it down between the windshield and the dash. It put some tension and the dash and all rattles are gone. can hardly see the fuel line inless you look right at it. I blend in with the dash .. Nice and quiet now

I bought the fuel line and ran it all the way across the dash where you suggested and all my dash rattles are gone!!
Carpet all the way across would have looked lame. The line blends in. If you didn't know it was there you would never notice it.
Thanks again.

Fuel line purchase
I bought the fuel line at a local AutoZone store. It was just a typical black fuel line, 3/8" inside diameter - 1/2" outside diameter. It's not plastic. It's a tuff rubber material.
I actually used the length needed to go the whole way across the dash, about 4 1/2 feet. I cut tapers on both ends so it would blend in better at the ends. All I did was press the line into the space between the windshield and the dash with my fingers just enough to create tension across the front of the dash. And far enough to look like it's part of Honda's design even though it's really hard to see anyway. If there are white ID markings on the tubing you can use a Sharpie permanent marker to black them out.
Hope this works out for you as great as it has for me.

Sorry, I answered before I got your request for the specs on the fuel line. I was wrong about the 3/8" inside diameter
I looked at the piece of line that I cut off and this is what's printed on the side.
5/16" (7.9MM) 50 PSI Fuel/Emission SAE 30R7 GoodYear.
The outside diameter is about 1/2" - that, of course, is the important dimension.
I bought 5' which cost me $6.35. Cheap fix, huh?

dash rattles GONE
I think the fuel line I used was about 1/2 inch outer diameter. It is very stiff. Rattles have been gone for months now. Can not even notice it between the dash and the windshield. Better that haveing someone tear your dash apart.

Taking this advice, I got some 7/32" ID vacuum hose which was a little over 3/8" OD about 50" long and stuffed it in the gap between the windshield and the edge of the dash. It seems to work great in stopping most rattles and creaks. It looked to me that something closer to 1/2" OD would really be a squeeze and 3/8" did the trick. A benefit of the vacuum hose is that there is no lettering on the outside. Cost all of about $3.50.

Update... tucked a 3/8" ID fuel hose for carb setups up there. Also wedged one piece way up under the dash behind a vent duct.
Helped dampen it a bit but still not conquered yet.
Curious-- how far did you push in that line? Seems like if it's pushed hard enough it could push the windshield up on a hot enough day.

Run your fingers up between your dash and your windshield from the left corner to the right corner... can you feel that slot all of the way across the windsheild? That is where you simply tuck (wedge) a 4 foot long (approx) piece of black rubber 3/8 fuel hose. It puts just a little pressure on the dash and my rattles disappeared for good
