Inner window sill protection

Any suggestions regarding protecting the inner window sill. This is where i rest my arm and don't want it to get cruddy over the years. Yes i use AC at high speeds but around town would rather have the window open

it might be cheapest to just buy a replacement interior panel and swap it once its cruddy
