Did you remove the H-VAC at all recently?
The way those "knobs" work is by three little "tubes" that latch onto primative looking white plastic "gears". If you didn't adjust those correctly when you put them back on, your "recycle" mode may not be at it's most optimum.

If that's not the case, it could be due to more intimate reasons... Goodluck.

LMAO!!! listen to this:

I'm driving home on friday and my AC stops cooling too! so naturally i take the car to the dealer next morning figuring its warranty work! NEVER! Turns out my radiator support bar was pushed back, my ac condensor was bent and damaged, and my radiator and fans were un-aligned too. So the service guiy says "theres physical damage so warranty won't cover this." i asked how much the condensor alone was and he tells me "$500-$600." what?! so i leave, go to my boys shop, put it on the lift take apart the front end, order a new copndensor from NJ Auto Parts (big ups to them for free delivery) put it all back together, and pay my boy to fill it w/ free-on ($40). AC FIXED!

Oh and BTW the ac wasn't blowing hard on recycle cause there was a pair of panties lodged in the suction behind the glove box. LMAO!!! alls well that end well.

thanks for the help anyways TRANAS!

Whoa.. What a day huh?
Well I'm glad you got it fixed, and yeah you gotta be careful what you put in the glove-box. When the glove-box is in the "locked" position, the contents are essentially "vulnerable" to the filter unit and... I suppose if the content in question is, LACEY enough - they could get sucked in.

No surprise with the dealership trying to steal money from you though, that's what they do best. haha.

Enjoy your new A/C!
