Help...SRS light on and dealer said..

My SRS indicator light came on. I took it to the dealer to fix the recall. They fixed it and the light hasn’t come on for about 8 months. However, the dealer said my Fujita CAI was rubbing against the crash sensor causing the light to come on. Does this sound plausible? Or are the trying to create business in a down market?? Please help!!

Sounds like BS to me. I have the Fujita and I have no issues. Do you still have the stock intake? If so put it back on and then take it back in.

the crash sensor is in that general area...not sure how much BS that could be.

Yeah I have paranoia about my intake rubbing against my SRS sensor. It is pretty close and the plastic part of my pod (the neck) has some wear from scraping the corner. So depending how loose / tight the intake is, this might be plausible.
