Vinyl tinting the stock tail lights

Just wanted to see what the other FitFreaks thought...
I used vinyl tint and it is not perfect when you get up close but I think it looks pretty good for the price.

I left the brake lights untinted for safety/legal reasons.

I have never personally used tint, only nightshades spray but in your pictures it looks damn impressive.

For vinyl tint (still have some left over), some application spray, & shipping it was $27.

I'm sure you could probably do it for cheaper but it was low enough for me.

but dam, the new tx license plates r ugly huh. im so glad i have the older style. haha. sucks for u.

I plan on getting a black license plate frame that covers up everything except for the state name and plate numbers. I've checked state laws and they will allow frames to cover up to half the state name but thats kinda dumb looking imo. I'll post something up when I get one cut out.

where did u get the film from? was it precut or a roll!?

i used $8 can of duplicolor black chrome azadized paint 3 lite coats

I get my film from metrostyling on eBay Rvinyl aslo sells it
in small sheets

i used rvinyl and cut out a shape bigger than the light and heated/stretched it on the light then trimmed it to size.
