problem with RADIO ""enter Code""
I have a fit 2009 today in the morning I changed the battery for a new , and now the radio show me the message "" enter code""
please........... some one help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks |
you need to enter your radio code to unlock it. if you don't have your code, call the dealership to get it.
if you got your car new, the dealership should have provided it to you when you bought the car - if you got your car used, you would have had to get it from the previous owner. |

Try sitting in the driver's seat and opening the glove box. There is commonly a white label with the code visible on the left side of the glove box, but it depends on the tech who did the PDI.
|
I wish I could help but my wife remembers every sequence of numbers she has ever read or heard in her entire life and always resets my radio codes after I have had the battery terminals removed... She is a very strange person.

If you register your VIN at the Honda OwnerLink, you can retrieve the radio code.
http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/user_home.asp Otherwise call a dealer with the VIN. They may get you the code. |
Don't panic, I had the same thing happen to me and was freakin' out a couple of years ago. I called the dealer. It's on a little white sticker in your glove box on the right side.
|
And if all the dealers put the sticker in the same place it kind of defeats the purpose of an anti-theft code.

Seriously, our code was listed on the Pre Purchase Inspection form (PPI) that came with the car. No sticker in the glove box, I just looked. |
also if you go have registered on Honda's owner link site, you can get your code.

I think many might hesitate, for what ever reason, to do this. When I purchased my new Honda it was one of the first things I did. I'm not sure, but I think anyone can sign on to the owners link. All you need to do is own a Honda, no? |
My code was in the owner's manual written in by the dealer.

I have the code, can't figure out how to enter the letters and numbers with radio buttons. Help?

The real deal
This is the Honda Radio/Navigation site. Easy, free and fast...best darn thing since sliced bread!

If you are in need of a radio code, I suggest you check out unlockradiocodes.com. My car battery died on me a couple of days ago and my radio was rendered useless as a result. They were kind enough to give me my code and the guides in their website helped me a great deal as I’m not much of a car person. My radio is working again now so I can definitely vouch for their service.
