help with OEM rear spoiler install:

hey guys:

just bought the factory rear spoiler at my local honda dealership.
can someone give me instructions or step by step on how to install it.
i know that you have to drill holes in the car. If anyone has attempted this can i get some feedback.

thankx for any help.
btw...total bill for the spoiler was $320 +tax=$360.canadian
i hope i got a good deal.

hey man where'd u get it for 320 bucks ?
the honda canada site says msrp on the oem hatch spoiler is 500 !!

newayz, i'm thinking of doing the same thing on my fit lx, lemme know how your installation went, post pics if you can, thanks

I'm not sure, but i'm getting my carbon fiber spoiler next week so hopefully i'll have a clue. I think it's probably just the two 10mm bolts on top and possibly some more under the headliner??

Dave, you have a GD or GE? Base or sport? and you're trying to install an OEM sport wing?

I have a GE Base and it's an aftermarket spoiler, with screws. Thanks!

I wanna do the same. I have a 2011 base model and the wing was the only thing I really wanted off the sports model but I couldn't pay the extra 2000 for that lol. Did u get it installed? Plz add pics!

sorry to dredge up an old thread, but has someone done this or is someone willing to share diy instructions? I can find a salvage one pretty easily but I want to know that I can do the install.
