I am in the process of replacing the standard radio in my 2007 Fit Sport - Got the old one out relatively easily but am now having some issues :

1-Wiring harness I got to mate up to the fit harness to the new radio does not have the same active pins as the so doesnt connect wires properly - (Kit # BHA 1722) seems to be the right kit though - any thoughts?

2-From the main harness there is a second large plug beside the radio plug that has 6 wires - there is no place to plug it into the new radio and I am at a loss as to what it is for and if it needs to be plugged into something

3-With heater controls and wiring for airbag light and a/c+ defroster as well as radio wiring disconnected - door locks will not work - is the wiring for this somehow routed thru the radio harness - possibly for security system

Guess Im off to get a service manual but in the meantime ""Help"
