P0847 & P0756 codes on 2008 Honda Fit AT

Hi,

I have a 2008 Honda Fit (Base) with Automatic Transmission. The other day, I got the following codes from a friend's OBDII and my car was stuttering pretty badly (sort of a rocking feeling at times like when an engine coil goes bad):

P0847: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Low
P0756: Shift Solenoid "B" Performance or Stuck Off

2 questions:

1. Is this the part that I need: 28600-RPC-004
2: Where is this Solenoid located? Is this the one that is located under the air cleaner & the battery?

Thanks!

I'm hoping the sensor is a fix all for this. These are the exact codes I have and I just ordered the part.

I figure since it's a cheap 30 minute fix, it's worth a try.

so I know you made this post several years ago, but could you please tell me how it went? Did replacing the sensor fix your problem? I'm having the exact same codes come up on my 2009 fit

Kailey,

It did fix the problem. Many years on, it has not returned. I believe I had found a youtube video about how to get to the sensor. I don't remember exactly where it was but I had to take apart the passenger bumper.

Overall, it was really easy to get to and replace.

Okay so you only replaced part number 28600-RPC-004? I'm just getting so confused because I've read other people say 28600-RG5-004, 28260-RG5-004, 28262-RPC-000, or 28600-RPC-003... I'm getting so overwhelmed and I don't know what the difference is between them, or if they need to be replaced 🤦🏻‍♀️
