OEM Front Lip Removal DIY? for GD3 Fit

How do you remove the OEM front lip?
I removed the bumper but there are clips connected to the lip. I'm not sure how to remove them, also reinstalling.
I'm planning to buy a new one due to the old lip bend and minor crack.
Please help thanks.

If there are clips attached to the lip can't you just remove the clips to pull the lip off?

The front lip (or 'spoiler' in Honda parts lists) can be removed without removing the bumper. It is anchored by the visible bolts in each wheel well, and bolt-on metal brackets along the front. You need to remove the plastic splash shields under the front to unbolt the brackets. (Which could have been bent if the spoiler was scraped on a curb or something.)

Our spoiler was split due to curb damage. Rather than replace it I re-attached the pieces using hot glue and a rectangle of synthetic wood for reinforcement.

It's been holding up fine for three years, now.
