replacing cam chain 2007 fit

Hello all,

I started to hear an odd sound coming from my 2007 fit engine so I decided to replace the chain/tensioners in hopes of fixing the sound. I had removed the chain case and got stuck. In the instructions and guides online they mention to remove the cam sprockets; however the bottom sprocket has a sprocket case that extends past the oil pan. I am unsure how to remove the sprocket case. In all the guides, there is no mention of a sprocket case. I was thinking of using a grinder to cut the whole thing off, but wanted to see if I was missing something obvious.

Drop the oil pan maybe?

I wouldn't use a grinder and get metal shavings all over.
