Is there an AC compressor write-up anywhere? 1G

I've tried searching and I'm probably just missing it but is there a write up or YouTube video for the replacement of the ac compressor on a 2007 Fit? I've done lots in cars but never anything AC related.
thank you!!

i got an ac diag and they said i need a new clutch and coil pack which costs like 550 in parts at honda, what's your take on buying a salvage ac/compressor as a whole? since its 2.5 hours of labor i figured i'd save a lot on the part itself

There was nothing wrong with my compressor and I did not want to discharge/recharge. I did some troubleshooting and found that despite getting electric signal, the clutch was not engaging on my GD. I removed the clutch (there are pain in the neck ring clips or whatever holding it on) and replaced just the actual electronically activated inner piece with a known good one and finally have ac again.

did you do the swap with the compressor mounted to the motor or with it removed? just wondering how difficult it would be to swap my a/c clutch without opening up the r134a system...

Yup, I did it all on the car to avoid draining the AC. Plenty of room with the plastic wheel well liner folded out of the way.
