Thumbs up best combo so far

I had bought a bunch of axle backs, etc..

T1R cat back
aspec axle back
tanabe axle back
fujitsubo wagolis

and i tried most of them on the car and found that the best combo so far is.. .

Fujitsubo wagolis axle back hooked up to the T1R B-pipe.. quiet sounding at non-vtec, and roars at vtec.. gains are nice and no "fart can" sounds!

Its pretty much common sense that the Wagolis would sound the best and low toned. It has the biggest muffler/canister.

Id like to hear it also. I think Im going twin-loop. I was going to run the Wagolis but I thin kthe Fit looks best with no muffler. I might try a side exit. Scared on what it'll sound like. Of course Id add a few resonators but theres not much room.

I have the Wagolis and T1R intake and love it as a combo. Have you put together the wagolis, T1R intake and B-pipe as a combination yet?

Joe, you said that you were using a T1R B-pipe. How much different is this B-pipe to the Spoon B-pipe and where did you buy it?

i am a t1r dealer, so i got the t1r catback exhaust and sold the rear axle back section and kept the b-pipe

from looking at it, other than a price difference, there really isn't anything that can tell a t1r and spoon apart

In post #3
"The Wagolis being only a axle back and not a full catback like the Power Getter is much cheaper, should be no more then $400 at most. If you are wanting a upgrade to the stock muffler with a slight increase in overall sound then the Wagolis is for you. In most cases you wont even be able to tell there is a aftermarket muffler installed until you reall get on it. The Wagolis showed about a 1.5whp gain at around 5800rpm. Torque gain was almost non existing."

---------------------

1.5 whp gain just for the Wagolis isn't impressive enough no matter how good it sounds. Maybe the T1R B-pipe makes a difference? Maybe not unless you upgrade the intake as well.

The size or appearance of a muffler is not always related to power gains or sound. Proven faster 0-60 times or reputable and repeatable dyno numbers are the gold standard.

i personally have driven with all the major exhausts out there (except for greddy and skunk2) and i can tell you that the wagolis makes power, more than the 1.5hp and the non-existent torque quoted

the t1r mid pipe makes a bit more power, i will post dynos as soon as next season begins, but the gains are about the same as the aspec and t1r canisters

i think it's important to remember that it's not PEAK hp that should matter, everybody seems to have this obsession with the PEAK numbers that most dyno's quote

if you look at the hondata flash for k24, they gain 24hp in the mid end, where the vtec cross over was, but gain 1-2 hp at the high end.. does that mean that the hondata flash is not "worth it"?

the hp gains on the axle back might not be all that great, but the responsiveness is good in all RPM ranges
