Engine Weights

Hi, i am trying to figure out the weight of all Honda Motors. I'm trying to figure out which engine would be good to swap into the Fit without adding too much weight.

L15
B16
B18
B20
K20
K24
(Please note if the engine weight you post is with fluids or not)
(Please include the weight of the Tranny)

IMO it would just be a waste to swap anything in the fit other than the K series

word, for the same amount of work, you might as well do the best thing for it.

since car is FWD, i'm sure u wouldnt mind the extra weight in the front anyways. the Fit is a very light car by itself.

i havent seen k24's in Fits yet. For those that have, were there any hood clearance issues?

I would think that a B16 would be lighter than a K20. someone told me that they are close to the same weight, wtf?

iirc the k20 is lighter then the b16 since the new k block utilizes either new alloys or manufacturing techniques, i forgot which one or even if it was true :S
