NGK iridiums. But actually, it's not going to be a big difference. Unless they NEED to be replaced becasue of wear and tear, i wouldn't bother upgrading to performance plugs. You're really not going to feel any differance.

The stock plugs are already NGK IR.

but I switched to Spoon Sports Racing plugs, I felt the difference right a way.

i paid in $290 and 1 to 1 exchange, i got a good deal for it i knew someone dat knew someone and was goin to Japan for a 3day business trip, so i got really lucky. I havent tried it yet cos im still having it installed since yesterday cos i had to fix my exhaust weldings and also servicing. But i will let u know Kimo.
Oh! i was lookin at the Spoon TB and it looks just like stock only thing with a bigger opening on the outside and tapered to the butterfly, seems like the butterfly is stock size. i guess im paying for Spoon craftsmanship and also warranty, damn dats a shitloads of money!!!

usually plugs wont make you feel any difference from stock unless your stock ones are already fouled up.

OEM plugs are fine. The whole ignition system is pretty damn strong from the factory.

Only time when you need to go colder steps is with forced induction.

YOu feel a differance??? Really??? How??? Where do you feel the differance?? can you prove it?? I honesly dont think that you'll feel a differance with differance spark plugs with everythign else (primary and secondary ignition) OEM

yup. i dont think you should feel much of a difference, UNLESS his original plugs were old and/or fouled.

Exactly!! Plus, if your DIS system is only puting out 50,000 Volts and it only needs 17,000 Volts to jump the gap in a spark plug and 8,000 volts to keep the spark going, why would a performance spark plug gap be easier to jump??? 0.035mm gap in a AC Delco plug is a 0.035mm gap in a Spoon spark plug.

Have done it before in Toyota Starlet 1.3L and Golf 2.0L. I have send my Toyota head to UK to get ported, the gain was not bad, in the Golf bought already ported head from UK and the work was aswome and gain was very good. I am thinking of doing my City but the problem is the time, as I have to take off my head and ship it and wait, and that will take some time, unless buy used head and send it.

So we're now talking about port and polishing??? that will for dure increase performance. Changing from OEM plugs to racing plugs will not.

Yes, I do feel the difference.

The car became very sensitive with the gas paddle especially at high rpms.
Responsive time is a lot quicker. However, I am no tech dyno freak, so
I do not have no proof besides your good faith in me.

During the low end rpms below 3000 you don't feel the difference.
But during high rpms you can tell the engine is having a better output.
