Greddy Evo 2 Exhaust Installed Pics

Here you go - came in yesterday, installed today. It was a simple matter of a 12mm ratchet, a little wiggling under the car and some turns - no jacking it up, no even getting directly under the car. But I am smaller than some guys so some of you might have to put the car up. Here's pics....

Before - like you needed to know (taken last night so it was dark)

The actual part - it's a axelback since I wanted to keep my sound limiter. The actual connection is right behind the back passenger tire.

Looking right down the pipe.

And a side view.

Lastly - you can see the Greddy emblem on the tip with no probs.

As for the sound, a little deeper, not to much louder, and definetly better.

I'd go for this again. The price it worth it.

My car is so dirty - ewww. I just realized that.
Anyway, I'm going to take a few a little further away so you can see the whole back bumper. It is big, though.
As for sound - it's not annoying, like some of those golf-cart sounding Hondas you see sometimes. It's deep, and sounds good. I have no clue how I would get a sound clip though.
As for a dyno, I know a cat-back only adds about 5hp, so I'm sure the axel-back is lower. When I've saved up enough I plan on getting a supercharger (the Jackson Racing is on the top of my list, if they come out with the automatic one soon) and I'll get it dynoed then.

Anyway - no one said. What do you think? Not that I'll take it off but I am curious.

Is the pipe diameter any larger than the stock tubing? It looks small.

It doesn't look much (if any) bigger - maybe a few millimeters. It couldn't be since it does have to fit to the stock pipe in front of the axel. The biggest deal is that the muffler is much less restrictive - so the airflow is improved. Not much, but some.
Anyway, I knew it wouldn't make much difference performance-wise. It's not like we have forced induction, where a bolt-on adds a lot of power. Our little engines need a lot of work to get more power. I liked how it looked, I wanted a better sound, and I didn't want to spend too much. It's not like I can't sell it later if I want to upgrade.

And as a friend of mine says - almost anything is better than stock.

Damn, i've always liked the greddy evo canisters. I went ahead and got the Skunk2, its great and all, but the sound is just deafening sometimes (and I'm talking about with the silencer on)

Original plan was to go Spoon B-pipe and that greddy, but couldnt pass up the price of skunk2 and the huge piping for a s/c later.

bottom line: looks great and would also be interested in sound clips if possible
