kinda looks like a muffler... but, realistically, other than a turbo or s/c we really aren't looking at a +- 5% increase.

I'm thinking about being the guinea pig here...

Alright i just got the intake on saturday and install on the same day, overall it much better the stock. It actually look nice overall in person. i like the carbon on it. Had some trouble put on the mount but with lil adjustment it fit perfect. at first it was rubbing near the radiator cap edge of the headlamp. But overall the top fuel chamber is great. I post pic when i finder card reader.

Comparing it to the stock, I have better throttle response, and more air is coming in better then the stock one, so i get better acceleration and this thing roar very loud in between acceleration and after 3k rpm the mid-ranged, you can hear it, so overall yes i did gain some comparing to a stock but maybe later i compared it with other chamber.

Awesome... I may start looking into this again. It's good to finally hear a response from someone who has actually had first hand experience with it instead of everybody else who makes snap judgements just from a picture. Thanks!

What problems did you have with the mount, and what adjustments did you have to make?

It was the mount it self the that with the intake, I just bend it lil back so the air filter isn't near the radiator cap, really that the only thing adjustments i did.

Hey, when you said it's loud when accelerating, do you mean from a dead stop? I hate it when the intake is crazy loud and the car isn't going anywhere.

If you floor it from dead stop yea it make a loud sound like 1k to 3k, it like any other intake it make a loud noise, but if you are not flooring it it sound nice. i try my best to do a sound clip, when i come back from vegas.

the intake actually starts roaring on the second gear if you have heavy foot on the gas, so on the 1st gear it should sound stock. correct me if im wrong, i have this intake for so long i cant remember whats like with stock filter.
