Good job, I like the look of a black muffler.

When you see it in pictures and things it makes the tips look bigger than they actually are in comparison. However unless you're on an incline looking at the back, you don't see where the tips end. If you're just looking down at the back of the car all you can really see is the tips which I think come out far enough to be perfect. Also from the side you don't see the muffler really either. I'll try to get a shot from the side for you and a better shot from the back where I'm not purposely low to the ground to get the muffler in the picture.

Also I know there is another dual-tip exhaust somewhere that sits really high and the tips angle down to clear the bumper and then straighten out so all you see are the tips themselves. Might wanna look into that too if it interests you.

Thanks, it's 100 times better than the stainless steel.

When I finally am ready to spend some more money for an exhaust, I am pretty sure I will get this same one (and maybe paint it similar too).

I got some pictures but I don't have time to upload them right now. The other exhaust is made by Sebring. There's one picture that I know of on the last page of the Vivid Blue Pearl thread.

I read that the tips are both 3" in diameter. Can you verify that? Thanks.

i wish the tips we're larger in diameter and denser...i guess its pretty low profile which is good, but its too small for this car...does anyone know if they make exhaust finished tips for these axlebacks?

IDK I thought they're the perfect size for the car. Anything smaller would look too stock, anything bigger would look out of place. But I guess if you really wanted bigger tips there's nothing preventing you from doing so, just cut off the tips and put on some different ones.

Dupli-color high heat ceramic, good for 1200 degrees according to the can. Picked it up at Auto-Zone.

So far so good, put it on a good 2-3 months ago. Sanded it down and used about 3 coats of that high heat stuff. It was designed for engines so I figure it'd be good for a muffler.

I inspected it the other day and no cracks or chips in the paint.
