I replaced my taillights and while I was under the back end of the fit I noticed that the muffler is oxidized(as in rusty?), what is up with that? I have had her since sept of 06, are other simularly aged fits gettin' crusty?

 

My exhaust pipe to the muffler looked like someone dredged it off the titanic, so hopefully my spoon n1 wont turn that way too. Ill get that never dull stuff to clean it i think
