What do you guys think about Top Fuel intakes?

They are a SRI, chambered, and show a 3-5who gain.

From their web site: "It is the anxious uselessness of a power down". ????
So far, I have not seen any posts from an owner of these intakes.

haha, I don't know what they mean by that. Yea, i searched h-t, clubcivic, google, yahoo, and honda-acura, but no one has any reviews. I dunno also, i might just go with suspension over a intake/exhaust since the 1.5L is more economy than a sport inspired car.

Based on the business philosophy/attitude expressed by the H-Fit rep. who posted the "now available" post on the oddly named Supa Sucka chamber intake, I would bet that you will see some dyno charts soon that will back up the claims made by H-Fit. I will also bet that among our members who are now waiting for their Supa Suckas (love to write this phrase) to arrive, such as Wave and others, you will read good reviews some time next week.

ABS plastic is vacuum molded and requires a heavy wall thickness to maintain rigidity for structural strength. Those factors account for the heavy and "ugly" appearance of the chamber. Carbon fiber or fiberglass chambers can be laid up with thin layers over a more artistic-shaped mold to give structural strength without the "clunkiness" in the H-Fit design, but they cost more.

What is important with both designs is the interior flow characteristics of the chamber. Smooth bends that do not create a vortex, back-flow, turbulence, or flow restriction are what is needed for performance over the stock box and small flat filter.

If all you need is reassurance before buying a high flow intake, just wait a few more days- I think it is coming. You have two complete threads warning you away from one famous intake maker, and a whole list of other makers who did their jobs right the first time. Another thread graphically explains the possible danger of weather effects on Cold Air intakes.

My belief is that getting more clean air into your engine more easily is a very good thing for engines of all sizes, especially small ones.

Ummm..... ok, I didn't ask about any information on cai's , sri's , or the supa sucka. I am no newb and have been in the game for quite a few years. I was asking input on the top fuel zero1000 intake. I know top fuel is a higher make, so I was wondering if anyone ever ran with it yet, and inputs from fellow members. Cause I called up panda?? a shop in cali and they said the zero1000 showed to be a great intake on the dyno compared to classic sri and cai. But thanks, didn't want to come off as a retaliation or anything. I am waiting on a review for the supa sucka like you said too.

to be honest, the zero1000 power chamber is the same design as the AEM v2 intake. It has a thicker outer wall then the pipe changes size in diameter and u have more compressed air being forced into the intake manifold. The aem v2 was a great intake so i'm assuming that the zero1000 power chamber is just as good. Sorry i have never owned their intake but i have owned an AEM v2 on my old civic.

btw i read somewhere that zero1000 is comin out w/ a turbo kit for the fit but i have no other information.
