Full Exhaust...
Full Exhaust...
This may seem like a dumb question and all, but I have the Skunk2 cat-back. I have been looking at headers, but I want to keep the car Emission friendly. So I was wondering if there is a pipe that I can get to go between the headers and the cat? I was looking at the test pipe for speed purposes but what happenes when I need to do my e-test down the road, Swap out the exhaust?? Or should I just grab the test pipe and make friends with the guys at the shop??lol
Thanks in advance for any replies.

That's the problem I have run into, I haven't had a chance to check under the car to see what I will need. But I haven't found anyone that makes a hi-flow cat for the fit, so would a universal work?? I'm just looking for as much power as I can get out of my car before next spring when I opt for AJ Turbo... so full exhaust, maybe flywheel, cam gear if they come out with one soon, lightened pulley, AC bypass(or take it right out)...

Oh, and if this is not a track-only car, do yourself a favor and DO NOT remove the AC hardware. With doing all the stuff you mentioned, you probably wouldn't even see a 15 horsepower increase. Not worth it if you're going to do the turbo anyway. After all, we are talking about a car that doesn't even put down 100 horsepower at the wheels stock.

Hmmmn, "Please list your length and inlet and outlet flange type"
Anyone know? Will their offerings even fit on a USDM Fit? I'll try it on my Fit if I can get that info. I'm guessing the 2"-2.25" Conversion Cat???
Is it even worth it on a N/A car?
Squareback, the flywheel, and pulley/cam gear would be more for bottom end torque. HP is good, but torque is better, if I could get my torque numbers higher than my hp numbers. I would be in heaven. I'm looking to make my car light and as fast as possible while still making it streetable. But I'm reading up on exhausts and it sounds like I may have to replace my 50mm when I get that turbo. Is this true or am I being mislead? I hope I'm not cause I just dropped good coin on that skunk exhaust..
Thanks for all the replies guys!!

oh yeah, I'v had my 50mm on for probably 3 weeks now. I won't be getting the turbo until sometime next year anyways. I may have to upgrade but I may not. We will see how it goes. But if I can squeeze the turbo on with the 50mm, I'll be a happy camper. If I have to upgrade to the 60mm I won't be...just more money to throw out there....

not that I have heard, I know it will be coming with a header, but that is only because the turbo bolts onto it. They may also throw in the test pipe but I have not heard of that yet. I'm still waiting for the Type-E turbo to come out, because I don't want to be pulling off a turbo/exhaust when I have to get my emissions done down the road...
HAHA I second that... buy a turbo set-up with a tuned exhaust. No-one would have to piece together. Just buy one big package and bolt it all on. Now that would be nice, but I don't see it happening..
You think someone would do it by now though. Makes sense, since the buyer doesn't have to worry about buying an exhaust that works well with the turbo. Oh well.
