what does honda use to stamp their parts? im gonna fake my turbo kit to make it look stock because cops look for the part stamp and the carb number on turbos. laws in california are getting stricter by the minute. my buddy is selling his evo because he was sick of getting pulled over and getting fix it tickets for stock parts! the last cop that pulled him over did the dreaded "pop your hood" search. alot of the turbo parts were aftermarket but the cop didnt give him a ticket. just a warning. but he did get a ticket for the stock carbon fiber wing. wtf? anyone know where i can get a genuine honda parts stamp?

 

i dont know. Most cops down here in socal are actually pretty educated when it comes to parts now. They know engine codes, what motors come stock in the car. so its tough to fake a part.

 

i wouldnt do it cause you would really be in trouble if they caught you.

 

if i got caught i would just play dumb. "i bought the kit off ebay officer, they said it was stock and carb legal." and also, i think there are few enough of our cars that you can get away with bending the truth. most people dont even know what my car is!!! i hate cali laws with a passion. wheres the governator when you need him? i thought arnold had our back.
