throttle body swap

will using a 1.3 idsi jazz throttle body on a 1.5 vtec engine do any harm?any pros or cons?cos i swapping with my buddy and his a 1.3 idsi..pls help before i commit..

What is the advantage, is it larger? If so then why is your buddy swapping a smaller TB onto his?

I have a L13 and i want to change the TBI to a larger. Does any one know witch one fits exactly.

I found in Fiat Marea, but any one made this mod?

the 1.3 idsi tb is operated by a cable. the 1.5 vtec is dbw so i dont think this will work.

Kylerwho.... In my Country L15 is operated by Cable... the L13 is operated without cable (Drive-by-wire).

I live in Brazil.

ok. i dont see any benefit to changing the tb if it the 1.3 is not bigger than the l15

OK, but my opinion is to change the original TB (48mm) for another bigger (55mm).

So i think fiat marea could have this one.....

i see. going to a bigger tb will help. check out this thread. its a mod you could but we cant do in the states due to differant crap under the hood.
