K & N filter

i installed a K and N filter in my car, and after the first 1000 miles its been great.

the car is not as loud driving on the highways, and there is a significant difference in the fuel economy.

my car has 72,000 miles on it, and i forced 400 miles into a tank of gas. with a fresh oil change, fresh trans fluid change, and a K and N filter.

nOOb question. Are you talking about the K&N air filter or the oil filter?

Sorry, I guess both the air and oil filters would be interesting.

No oil filter will make the slightest difference in engine noise or fuel economy. The question obviously applies to air filters only.
