i am running the stock 4-5 psi... its not totally done yet. the fiter is not on yet. nor is the turbo... soon ...very soon. ~BJ |
Did you need a smaller battery for the pipe to clear?
On an unrelated note...I wonder how much those plastic intake runners will take when people are pushing psi. |
do you know appox. how much is it?? and how many hp produce, as I know HKS have 2 level turbo Kit one 130hp the other one is 158hp, which one you run???
Is the filter next to the BOV??? What parts come with the Kit?? |
damn why such a huge intercooler? 1/2 of it doesnt even see air. looks cool tho. Estimated hp?

Price! We need a price!!!

shoot now i HAVE to make it out to the micro meet. I was wondering why u were selling the last station so fast lol. Now a couple questions: is this built for the USDM honda fit or is this for the JDM fit? is the IC piping going to block the foglights from being re-installed? Is this a true bolt on turbo kit or do you gotta get the F-con tuned?

you should come out to the micro meet to check out all the cool cars. it is made for the USDM honda fit but i think before they made them for mass quantities they probable did some modifications. i heard that the foglight was going to come in contact with the fog light but i head if you trim a bit of the foglight housing in the rear you could make it fit. I am going to try and do eveything i can to make the foglight fit. i like them. As far as i come across it is a true bolt on kit. They F-CON is pretuned for 4-5 PSI ( i will know wheni have it all installed with the boost gauge) but as a plus the f-con can be re-tuned for higher boost...but first you have to buy the optional injectors from hks. HKS also told me that you can buy some RC injectors and that will work fine. That means i can buy some eclipse turbo injectors and wire in a injector resistor box and have 450cc injectors for like 100.00 we will soon see. I loves that last station intake... but i sold it to toyota lover...a fellow fit frak member for 200.00 shipped... no harm no foul. Thanks Kev, BJ |

nice nice!! have you thought about using K20 310cc injectors? theyre pretty cheap
|
didnt think that far into it...
might see if they work... then i would have to re-tune the f-con sounds like a plan~ ~BJ |
Hp
Is that 130 / 160 to the wheels or crank?:) Seems like alot of money for no power IMAO.
GD3blaze07' |
to the wheels.
yeah you are right its not alot of power....but you got to admit its kinda cool. its not turbo with 1000 hp but it is just fine for me. |

when i was at sema the rep stated the following:
1. the price range is $3500 2. the F-con S is locked and can not be reprogrammed 3. yes there is no injectors included and is rated 30% increase at the crank, not wheels due to the CARB issue 4. boost is set at .4 bar 5. expect it to be released late Nov, early Dec. |
hey do you know if that Fcon can be tuned in closed loop or only open loop?

In my instruction manual it sayd that it can be tuned if you have the program (which i do) Garrett from hks told me this as well. 3. no injectors are included but you can upgrade with the new boost level and bigger injectors. 4. bar= 14.5~14.7 do it is 5.8-5.88 lbs 5. hks has had the turbo kit for a while. I think about 6 months to 1 year from release date. These are the items i know from talking with HKS. If i am wrong then i am wrong. but as far as i know i think they are correct. Thanks BJ |

may be soud like stupid question.........is it req. to remove the engine cover, as I know the Japanese HKS Turbo they did remove it!!!
I'm looking forward for the Video and pics |
No it is not required to remove the engine cover. The only reason i removed mine is because i am getting a custom carbon fiber one made.
i dont know if the japanese one must be removed. but if you say so i believe you. ~Bj car will be done later today...just need to cross the t's and dot the i's.

they everone would be happy~ ~BJ |
tell me about it. it's been over a year since the came out and the list of available mods are so little. no cams, pistons nor rods available besides custom built. the nissan versa gets more love.
me coming from the industry and having cars with at least double the stock HP I'm not happy with the performance the fit comes with stock. and this being me first AT car doesn't help either. |

The way i see it is that its a sport looking wagon that has alot of cool parts out for it. Honestly i can care less if it is fast as long as it looks cool, gets decent gas mileage, and blows off. I guess you can say that my ultimate goal is to be in a magazine then move on. I purchased the car in april of this year and there not much more things i can buy for the car. and how some guy said that its took much money for the little hp increase ...well if i wanted to drive around a fast car i would drive around my 600hp 240sx. |
Yes, i was exaggerating.
I only get 28 mpg, so i'm giving up on trying to save every drop of gas, so i'm looking to getting a turbo kit. I also like turbo kits over SC because it'll muffle the exhaust down a bit too. So you can get pictures of the Greddy and the HKS kit? let us know what you think is better, for power, and for looks, and which will allow the fogs. well, me being in the industry is usually in the manufactures side, and i have built 3 cars already that have been featured or published. It's only fun when you like the attention, but when you get older, you'll like the piece and quite. |

Thanks BJ I have put the EVC to boost to 60 kpa and I think that we may need to change the piston & piston rod if we would like to tune this at high kpa than 60 (such order it from JE) I was looking for the program(software) & the tune cable. Can I get 1 from you? :) |
