I'm also interested in the T1R b-pipe shipped to 93454.

I don't see it listed separately on the website.

i thought i had my decision narrowed down to the tanabe medalion touring or the greddy sp2 that yeamans17 introduced me to (sounds monstrous on his beloved cb7!), but t1r had to sculpt this masterpiece!

what are the db levels on the t1r vip? under 93, i hope! also, what db levels are we looking at including the t1r b-pipe & header?

i want to eventually get both the t1r b-pipe and header, but cant afford to get both at the same time. which should i get first....the b-pipe or header? im thinking the header first....then the b-pipe. i dunno.

i currently have a ssi and tanabe medallion axle-back. thanks in advance.

if that's a phone video, I bet you that it sounds damn good in person... what exactly are you using for the exhaust? Is it the above advertised?

-T1R 50S Sports B-pipe
- Made out of SUS304 aircraft stainless
- 50mm main pipe direct bolt on installation (no modifications required)
- lightweight and extreme durable
- if you don't want addtional noise and want to improve the performance, this is probably what you will be looking for cuz it will bolt on to your stock muffler
- will bolt up with aftermarket muffler such as HKS, Fuji, J's Racing, Spoon and T1R...etc.

Any questions or comments, please post here.

Thanks
Ben[/quote]

Ben,

I have a T1R Header and a HFP axle-back muffler. Will your resonator really not increase the noise? I would like less pressure drop for FI, but like the sound pretty much like it is.

Thanks,

Larry

i have the HFP sport muffler on my car now and want it to be alittle louder than it is now and want some performance. will the B pipe add a noticeable amount of sound to my HFP muffler? and how much would it be?

Larry,

With stock muffler, you will not hear any sound

Sorry for my slow response guys, I have been really busy lately so please PM me for pricing for the b-pipe and the VIP muffler.

Thanks

Ben

Thanks Ben,

What got me started on this was a Megan B-Pipe for sale post that said:

Mid-Pipe is not a self-install item... bolt-on, but should be installed by exhaust shop, to be able to lift entire car for proper installation. Comes with gasket and nuts/bolts. Note: Use of mid-pipe increases sound level significantly. Not recommended for the family car.

I am trying to figure out if there is a dB difference between brands of mid-pipe resonators. Was this post bogus, or is the T1R resonator quieter than the Spoon, J's, or Megan mid-pipe resonator?

The T1R muffler alone will be under 93db but if you get the b-pipe, the sound will increase a bit more but still not at the 93 bd level.

It is anything but strange (IMO). I absolutely love the look because it is not your standard "canon"/doesn't have the Civic look-- it unique is what i am trying to say-- and tough at the same time. The sound is primo though Ben warned me repeatedly that B-pipe will increase the volume quite a bit. DD with family in car is 100% good with just axelback (though once I am the ony one that drives this car I will get the B-pipe immediately!
